Renowned as a crossroads between Europe, Asia, and Africa, Egypt’s geopolitical significance is amplified by its stewardship of the Suez Canal—a vital artery for global maritime commerce. Recognising this unparalleled strategic value, AD Ports Group has channelled approximately USD 469 million in investments into Egypt since 2022. This robust commitment underscores the Group’s confidence in Egypt’s investment climate and highlights its mission to fortify economic links between the UAE and Egypt.
These targeted investments not only boost Egypt’s standing within East-West trade corridors and global supply chains but also deliver substantial economic advantages across a spectrum of sectors. Through the advancement of logistics infrastructure, industrial zones, and maritime assets, AD Ports Group is helping to attract international investors, catalyse manufacturing and export growth, and deepen Egypt’s integration with worldwide trade networks. These ambitious endeavours directly support Egypt’s Vision 2030 objectives, laying the groundwork for sustainable economic expansion, job creation, and widespread technology transfer.
Drawing on its global expertise and forging high-impact partnerships, AD Ports Group is actively transforming Egypt into a dynamic regional and international logistics powerhouse.
Through its Noatum Ports division, AD Ports Group is orchestrating the development of pivotal port facilities across the country, reinforcing Egypt’s stature as a principal hub for trade, logistics, and tourism in both the Red Sea and Mediterranean basins.
At the heart of this expansion is the Multipurpose Terminal at Safaga Port on the Red Sea—a state-of-the-art facility engineered to accommodate a range of cargo, including dry and liquid bulk, containers, and RoRo vehicles. Poised to serve as a critical conduit for Upper Egypt, this terminal is set to provide invaluable support to local industries and regional enterprises.
Through the KEZAD platform, AD Ports Group is spearheading the East Port Said Industrial Zone on the Mediterranean, strategically positioned at the gateway to the Suez Canal. Under a landmark 50-year renewable agreement with the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), the Group aims to establish a 20 km² industrial and logistics park.
The project will be developed in phases, with the initial phase covering 2.8 km² and construction slated to commence by year-end. An initial USD 120 million investment has been earmarked for comprehensive market and technical studies, as well as Phase 1 development over the next three years. Key regional partners, notably Hassan Allam Holding, are contributing to the realisation of this vision.
Simultaneously, KEZAD is advancing the Alexandria Logistics Park, following a memorandum of understanding with Egypt’s Ministry of Industry and Transport in January 2025. This visionary project will create a 1.1 km² integrated logistics hub at Alexandria Port, which currently manages around 60% of Egypt’s foreign trade.
Together, these dynamic initiatives exemplify AD Ports Group’s unwavering commitment to bolstering Egypt’s logistics and industrial backbone and embedding the nation further into the fabric of global supply chains.
Noatum Maritime blends international expertise with deep-rooted local alliances to champion trade and fuel economic growth in Egypt. The division delivers cutting-edge, reliable solutions tailored to client aspirations and regional development goals.
In pursuit of sustainability, AD Ports Group, in partnership with Orascom Construction, has signed an MoU to establish a green methanol storage and export facility. This pioneering plant will serve as a hub for low-carbon maritime fuel, opening new avenues for clean energy storage and enhancing Egypt’s credentials on the global green energy stage.
Green methanol—a renewable fuel produced from green hydrogen—offers a promising alternative to fossil fuels, especially in sectors where decarbonisation remains a challenge. The adoption and production of this fuel marks a significant stride towards reducing emissions and accelerating the energy transition.

Noatum Logistics is focused on delivering comprehensive, end-to-end logistics solutions throughout Egypt. Its offerings—ranging from freight forwarding and customs clearance to warehousing and distribution—are designed to optimise supply chains for local and international businesses alike, boosting efficiency and facilitating seamless trade operations.
Through these multidimensional initiatives, AD Ports Group is not only strengthening Egypt’s logistical and industrial landscape but also propelling the nation onto the global stage as a linchpin of modern commerce.

AD Ports Group is elevating Egypt’s cruise tourism and logistics infrastructure with the development of state-of-the-art cruise terminals at key destinations: Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh, Al Sokhna, and Port Said. These world-class facilities are poised to transform Egypt into a premier destination for cruise tourism, while amplifying its logistics capabilities.
The new terminals will deliver a superior passenger experience, encourage more cruise operators to set routes in Egypt, and introduce diverse itineraries that will further enhance the country’s allure as a global tourism hotspot. Integrated within AD Ports Group’s expansive network, these terminals are unlocking fresh opportunities for Egypt’s trade and tourism industries—driving economic growth and strengthening regional connectivity, particularly in the vibrant Red Sea corridor.
